About the Story

® They say ‘Actions speak louder than words.’ But sometimes, they’re not enough! A father tries to fulfill all the requirements of his children. Then why is that he can never muster up the courage to hug his son and convey his love for him? Does that make a father love his son any less? Do social norms transcend the boundaries of love? When a father is present when his son takes his first steps, shouldn’t the son be present for his father’s last? Why do fathers, on one hand, want their sons to be their replicas and want to see their son victorious in every sphere, on the other, irrespective of his own failures. To know the answers to these age old yet pertinent questions, read author Pratham Devang’s heart-warming tale of an unusual bond of love between a father and his son.
